Vijay Antony (born 24 July 1975) is an Indian music composer, playback singer and actor working in the Tamil film industry. ==Career== Vijay Antony was born in Trichy and studied in St.Xavier Higher Secondary School,Tirunelveli Tamil Nadu, India. He obtained a degree from the Trinity College London and set up his own in-house studio called Audiophiles. He made his debut as a music director in the 2006 film ''Dishyum'', directed by Sasi. He is the first Indian to win the 2009 Cannes Golden Lion for the ''Nakka Mukka'' commercial (for ''The Times of India'') in the Best of Music category. ''Nakka Mukka'' raised his fame and that song was played in the 2011 Cricket World Cup. In 2012, he made his acting debut, enacting the lead role in the thriller film ''Naan''.
